How it Works: You can make pellets out of wood chips hard or soft, hay, switch grass,soy bean,manure.The key is the moisture content of the material you are going to pellet. The moisture content needs to be 10% to 15% . You need to make a recipe that will work for you depending on what you are going to pellet. Example:

We are going to use saw dust (a local furniture maker gives us a 55 gallon drum of saw dust a day about 100 lbs) The moisture is 7 % which is too low we mix the saw dust that is too dry with saw dust that has a higher moisture content to achieve the mix we need to make a pellet.You then put the material in top of the hopper and pellets come out that you can burn.
